Osseo Area Schools is seeking a
Master Plumber
to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures across the district. This full-time,
year-round
role plays a key part in ensuring all plumbing systems, including water, waste, and gas piping, meet safety and building code standards. Your Role Will Include: Installing, maintaining, and repairing water supply networks, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures Reading blueprints, determining layouts, and selecting appropriate pipes, valves, and fittings Conducting leak testing, troubleshooting, and repair recommendations to the Coordinator of Custodial/Maintenance Performing arc and gas welding and ensuring plumbing systems meet code compliance. Preparing seasonal plumbing systems, including winterization Ensuring workplace safety and compliance with all district policies Qualifications: Master Plumber License and Valid Driver’s License required 2+ years of verifiable Master Plumber experience and 3-5 years in commercial/industrial plumbing maintenance Ability to obtain a Specialist Boiler License within one year of hire Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in varying environments, including heights, extreme temperatures, and exposure to hazardous materials Successful completion of Background check Preferred Qualifications: Specialist Boiler License, Certified Pool Operator, Back Flow Preventor Licenses, and Universal Refrigeration License Salary and Benefits: Starting at $32.72/hr - $46.07/hr, based on experience Competitive benefits: health insurance, paid sick/vacation time, PERA state pension Location & Shift Times: FT, year-round role,
