The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for leading and managing all technology initiatives within Hills Bank. This includes ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of all data and systems, overseeing IT infrastructure, and driving strategic technology planning aligned with the Bank's goals. The CIO will lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote efficiency, integration, and innovation across the Bank. The CIO will also serve on the Bank's senior management team, advising on the technological impact of business decisions and ensuring strong information security programs to protect the Bank's information. Accountabilities:

Collaborate with the Bank's senior management team to align technology strategies with the Bank's business objectives and goals. Lead the development and management of information security strategies to protect the Bank's technology systems and data. Serve as a point of contact for external entities such as regulators, auditors, vendors, and technology support firms, ensuring the Bank's IT operations comply with relevant laws and industry standards. Represent the Bank at internal and external functions to promote the Bank's commitment to the communities it serves. Participate in Board meetings, senior management team meetings, and strategic planning sessions, providing technology-related advice to assist in driving informed decision-making. IT Planning:

Translate the Bank's goals into actionable IT strategies and operational plans. Lead the development of goals for IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology investments. Collaborate with other departments to ensure technology solutions align with the Bank's objectives, ensuring seamless integration across the Bank. Manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective solutions that support both operational and strategic needs. Evaluate the technological impact of new programs, projects, and regulatory changes, advising on both risks and benefits. Develop and implement measurable action plans to track progress against technology initiatives and goals. Department Oversight and Management:

Lead the IT business unit, including Support, Budget, Infrastructure Services, and Information Security. Develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure high-performance technology systems and effective project management. Manage the recruitment, training, and development of IT staff, fostering a culture of innovation, efficiency, collaboration, and teamwork. Oversee the performance evaluation of direct reports, ensuring alignment with the bank's technology needs, culture, and strategic direction. Provide guidance and leadership to direct reports, setting clear expectations and aligning their efforts with organizational objectives. Review performance reports and recommend adjustments to improve IT efficiency and productivity while keeping costs within the IT budget. Education and Special Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior IT executive position in the financial services industry
