Introduction:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and provide high-quality care to our clients. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess clients' functional abilities, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to help clients improve their communication, cognitive and swallowing abilities. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of evidence-based practices and be able to work collaboratively with clients and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' functional abilities and needs Develop and implement treatment plans based on client goals and needs Provide individual and group therapy sessions to help clients improve their physical, cognitive, and motor skills Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment Document clients' progress and outcomes using electronic medical records Stay up-to-date with current research and evidence-based practices in occupational therapy Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills Other duties as assigned Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathologist Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and ability to apply them in practice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Perks:
