Primary Purpose: Design, coordinate, oversee, and direct campus-wide FullService Community Schools (FSCS) programs at the assigned community school. Use the four evidence-based pillars to 1) integrate supports, expand and enrich learning time and opportunities, 3) encourage family and parental engagement and community involvement, and 4) collaboratH with campus and district leadership to identify and resolve problems affecting academic success.

Qualifications: Education/Certification: Minimum - Bachelor's degree Ln education, social work, or other appropriate field Preferred - Master's degree in education, social work, or other appropriate field

Special Knowledge/Skills: Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills with people from all social, educational, and economic backgrounds Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to meet established deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills High degree of computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Preferred - ability to communicate in native language(s) of program recipients

Experience: (preferred) Three years' experience in an educational and/or social work setting Experience in fiscal/budget management, data reporting, and management information systems Demonstrated competence in program development, marketing, implementation, and evaluation Working knowledge of local youth/family service organizations Experience working with and managing grant-funded programs

Major Responsibilities and Duties: Maintain a Family Resource Center that informs and provides families with linkages to available/relevant community resources Plan DQG organize Family Support Service workshops Provide guidance and resources toward developing family-focused campus faculty DQG staff Maintain a working knowledge of the FSCS grant goals, objectives and outcomes. Work closely with the Director of Community Schools Initiatives to identify gaps in pipelines services and/or partner service delivery issues. Track & maintain family participation data; prepare & provide reports as required; coordinate with the Director of Community Schools Initiatives around data required for the FSCS grant. Make home visits and facilitate several modes of effective communication among school personnel, students, parents/guardians, community agencies, and the justice courts Possess a working knowledge of the current compulsory education laws (i.e., The Texas Family Code, the Texas Education Code, FSCS Grant requirements, and TW/WISD policies) Collect, organize, and disseminate pertinent data that relates to student attendance problems. Prepare absenteeism information to serve the legal process. Serve as zone specialist for an area of targeted support and pipeline services such as afterschool programming, tutoring, or zone communication Submit an annual plan for professional development, including attending professionally-appropriate training, reading relevant books, and submitting annual goals. Be available to work flexible hours to accommodate evening and weekend activities Perform other job-related duties as assigned
