Job Description:

Position Summary:

This leadership role is pivotal in guiding and optimizing the organization's financial processes related to patient care. Reporting directly to senior leadership, the position oversees the end-to-end revenue cycle, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing financial performance, and enhancing the overall patient financial experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations related to revenue processes, including coding, billing, collections, and cash flow activities. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely billing and receivables processing. Oversee team performance, including hiring, training, evaluations, and ongoing professional development. Implement quality assurance measures to enhance accuracy and compliance in billing and collection processes. Establish and enforce policies and procedures to align with regulatory and organizational standards. Develop performance metrics to monitor and improve revenue cycle outcomes, including collections, adjustments, and aging accounts. Act as a subject-matter expert on compliance and regulatory requirements in healthcare billing. Monitor accounts receivable performance, addressing inefficiencies and implementing process improvements. Partner with operational teams to enhance workflows and systems supporting revenue cycle activities. Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management, detailing key performance indicators and financial outcomes. Address and resolve patient and payer-related concerns to maintain high levels of service and operational efficiency. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Healthcare Administration, Business, Accounting, or Finance. Advanced degree preferred. Extensive leadership experience managing both hospital and clinic financial operations. Deep understanding of billing processes, payer requirements, and healthcare regulations, including Medicare and managed care. Proven ability to analyze financial data and develop strategies for improving performance. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with healthcare financial systems and reporting tools. Skills & Attributes:
