Coachella Valley Unified School District covers more than 1,200 square miles of mostly rural desert terrain, serving the communities of Coachella, Thermal, Mecca, Oasis, Indio, and the Salton Sea. Classified Substitute is an on-call as needed position. Substitutes may work in a variety of different positions depending on their work experience.
