Job Title: Industrial EngineerJob Description
Key the person and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Develop and implement lean manufacturing techniques to streamline operations and reduce costs. Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies. Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process improvements. Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and technologies. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including ISO/TS and IATF.
Responsibilities

Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
Proficiency in using industrial engineering tools and software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and simulation software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including ISO/TS and IATF.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with six sigma, continuous improvement, 5 why, and plant layout.
Work Environment
On-site in a manufacturing environment in Midland, TX. The role offers a dynamic opportunity in a startup space and satellite company.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
