Position Purpose: To manage and oversee a comprehensive school health program, ensuring the delivery of health services to students and staff to promote overall wellness within the school community. Responsibilities align with professional school nursing standards, district and state education policies, and Illinois nursing regulations.
Performance Responsibilities:
School Health Program Administration & Compliance Student Health Services & Special Education Support Staff Supervision, Training & Development Health Office Operations & Resource Management Professional Engagement & Committee Participation Essential Functions:
Proficiency in medical knowledge and nursing techniques Awareness of school and community health resources Strong verbal communication and active listening skills Effective problem-solving abilities Commitment to maintaining confidentiality Capability to perform physical activities such as walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, reaching, and assisting students as needed What We Offer:
Financial Stability- Minimum starting salary $53,200 with the potential for higher compensation based on experience. 182 Work Days (includes holiday pay) No Weekends Sick Days & Personal Days Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Retirement Plans Professional development opportunities
