Software Developer - UI / Full Stack
Job Summary:
The GBS Group is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Angular for frontend development and experience in backend technologies such as .NET, Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable web applications, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend components. They will have a strong sense of accountability to commitments and will make sure that their deliverables meet or exceed quality expectations and within the estimated timeframe or escalate as needed.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular (12+) Develop and integrate RESTful APIs. Implement backend services using Spring Boot, .NET Work with SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (OpenSearch, Redis) databases to manage data. Optimize application performance, security, and scalability. Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality. Work collaboratively within an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning and standups. Contribute to all aspects of the software life cycle including but not limited to reviewing project requirements, work with team to design technical solutions, scoping, implementation, technical documentation, testing, delivery, and maintenance. Required Qualifications & Skills:
5+ years of experience in full-stack development. Strong proficiency in Angular (12+), TypeScript, and HTML/CSS. Familiarity with UI libraries like Nebular, Angular Material Hands-on experience with backend technologies such as .NET (C#), Java, Spring Boot. Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services. Familiarity with authentication and security best practices (JWT, OAuth, role-based access control). Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Familiar with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS). Knowledge of microservices architecture and message brokers (AmazonMQ, RabbitMQ).
