We are seeking a
Shipping and Receiving Clerk
to handle the
processing, documentation, and inventory management
of aerospace fasteners and related materials. This role ensures
accuracy, compliance with industry regulations, and efficiency in shipping and receiving operations . Key Responsibilities: Receive
incoming shipments , verify quantities and part numbers against purchase orders, and inspect for damage. Prepare and package
outgoing shipments , ensuring correct labeling and required documentation (e.g.,
packing slips, bills of lading ). Enter
shipping and receiving data
into the company's inventory management system. Maintain
accurate inventory records , reporting any discrepancies to the appropriate teams. Coordinate with
carriers and logistics partners
to schedule pickups and deliveries. Handle and store
materials in accordance with safety regulations
and company procedures. Work closely with
production and quality control teams
to resolve any shipping or receiving issues. Ensure compliance with
company policies, procedures, and industry-specific regulations . Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent . Experience in
shipping and receiving , preferably in a
manufacturing or distribution environment . Familiarity with
shipping procedures, inventory management, and required documentation . Ability to
operate a computer and use inventory management software . Strong
attention to detail and accuracy . Ability to
lift and move heavy objects
as needed. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills . Preferred Skills: Experience in the
aerospace industry
or another
highly regulated
environment. Knowledge of
fastener specifications and industry standards . Experience with
export shipping documentation . Forklift certification . Spanish language skills Additional Information: Due to the nature of
regulated manufacturing projects , compliance with specific
citizenship or work authorization
requirements may be necessary. Employment is
