Performance Responsibilities:
- Supervises the school's main office for efficient operations.
- Supervises the maintenance of an appealing and clean school office complex.
- Positively greets students, school employees, other school division personnel, parents, and visitors.
- Screens walk-ins for appointments with the principal or assistant principal.
- Answers the telephone in accordance with school procedures.
- Word process form letters and reports from rough draft or clean copies.
- Records all appointments and maintains school calendar of activities and the use of facilities within the building or on school grounds.
- Receives, sorts, and distributes U.S. mail, inter-school mail, and central office division mail.
- Organizes information and maintains accurate files by discarding outdated information.
- Creates new files with file cabinets as necessary.
- Effectively operates office machines.
- Requisitions office and school supplies and instructional materials.
- Maintains an on-hand inventory of supplies and materials.
- Registers new students and processes all required paperwork as necessary.
- Acts as an information resource to school employees and the public on a variety of matters related to school operations, regulations, and policies.
- Maintains confidentiality of school board office and school-related information.
- Performs other job-related duties as required by immediate supervisors.
Terms of employment: 190 days per year.
