Job Title: Entry-Level Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist

Pay: $24 - $27/hour (Direct Hire)

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Mission Viejo. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts, resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Assist with month-end closing tasks, including reconciliations and AP reporting.
• Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries regarding payments.
• Support the accounting team with administrative tasks and process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 0-2 years of AP or general accounting experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
