Our mission is to impart a rich classical Christian curriculum full of Scriptural truth and life-giving experiences. We exist to nourish students’ hearts, souls, minds, and bodies for the purpose of growing in them knowledge, wisdom, good character, and Christ-like virtue worthy of bringing glory to our great God. The leadership team has set the foundation for a rich intellectual and spiritual culture, with excellent teachers across disciplines who are dedicated to shaping the hearts and minds of the young. School Hours Monday through Thursday, 8:00am-3:15pm and Friday, 8:00am-1:30pm | Extended Care until 5:30pm How this role fits into the team Each member of our team is essential to building a thriving culture that sees and calls out the image of God in our students and in one another. As we invite students to step into everything they are designed to be and do, our faculty and staff must also reflect and invest in our daily work of responding to God’s calling through an inner posture of discipline, diligence, and dedication. Donum Dei seeks a part-time Teacher Assistant to help in the classroom of a lead teacher. This person will grow in the ability to teach an integrated, classical curriculum to our students. Agree with Donum Dei’s Statement of Faith and serve as a minister of the Gospel. Complete professional development requirements and safety training throughout the school year as applicable. Attend Morning Assembly (M/W/F at 8am) and Friday Staff Meetings (1:45-2:45) as applicable. Participate in school activities such as Parent Orientation, Back to School Night, The Greatest Gift, equipping events and fundraisers as applicable. Have a love for children, display a love for learning, and commit to cultivate that love for learning in students. Devote yourself wholeheartedly to the Lord and be in good standing with a Christian church. Preferred Qualifications
Professional working experience in specified job areas. Role & Responsibilities Donum Dei Extended Care (DDEC) Program Aide (16 hours a week) Assist Extended Care Director with administrative tasks. Prepare materials for activities. Oversee students. Support the growth, development, and health of the school in the areas of recruitment, events, and community-building activities. Be available for meetings after school hours when needed. Support check-in, prayer, and check-out on select days. Participate in professional development and teacher training opportunities as required. Assist the Extended Care Manager (and take initiative) to prepare the school for the next day after the students have all been picked up. Flexible Campus Supervision (4 hours a month) This role is requested to be on campus for an average of 4 hours per month of flexible campus supervision time for various events on campus when students are present. These events are family events where parents and students are in attendance but parents are engaged and students are playing. While no planned programming is required, we need someone to be dedicated to student supervision. Schedule & Compensation Working Schedule Monday through Thursday 3:15pm-6pm, Friday 1:00pm-6pm Working Schedule: including but not limited to school trimesters, required in-service days, and required professional development days. Employment Type: Part Time Salaried Exempt - 16 hours per week + 4 hours flexible per month. Set PTO and Sick Pay Extended Care Staff Set PTO Schedule
Set PTO: (33 days) Based on the published 25/26 Academic Calendar. San Francisco County Sick Pay 72 hours annually accrued at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked. Compensation Compensation is an annual salary paid bimonthly with partial salary paid as tuition credit if applicable.
