We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer, who has the same desire to prove that industry can do it! This role serves as a technical resource for researching, developing and designing custom-engineered solutions for advanced equipment in a variety of highly technical industries.

Responsibilities:

Maintains expert subject matter knowledge through additional training and experience in any of the following areas of Engineering, Methods and Technology: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical Controls, Finite Element Analysis, Materials and Welding. Utilizes engineering and physics principles to generate industrial machine designs. Uses 3D CAD systems to generate mechanical designs, create assemblies and produce mechanical drawings. Performs and interprets Finite Element Analysis using programs such as SolidWorks. Uses PLM and PDM systems to manage data and configuration. Provides and interprets pneumatic and hydraulic schematics. Troubleshoots and debugs industrial mechanical systems. Mentors Level I and Level II engineers as needed.

Our ideal candidate:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required). 5-7 years of Engineering experience (automation strongly preferred). PE certification a plus. Experience in machinery design, hydraulics and pneumatics preferred. Experience with CATIA/SolidWorks. Ability to proactively anticipate potential problems and propose solutions. Ability to analyze complicated systems. Ability to develop designs and troubleshoot problems with limited oversight. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail. Solid computer skills and experience.

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from $106,371.00-$140,490.00 annually, depending upon qualifications.
