Sales Manager
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a
Sales Manager.
In this position, your primary objective is to prospect, develop, and maintain accounts in assigned market segments through direct sales efforts, while ensuring that budgeted financial results are achieved and exceeded.
This is an onsite position at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells, WI. Assigned markets will include Milwaukee and Green Bay, with travel to these markets 2-3 times per month.
The ideal candidate will enjoy hunting and prospecting, using creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to research and connect with new sources of group business for the resort. A persevering, self-motivated, high-energy, resourceful, detail-oriented, growth-minded individual will be successful in this role. Previous sales experience is not required but is a plus.

Two years of hotel catering/event sales experience preferred. Experience and proven success in developing and closing group business is required. Have a broad understanding of the events industry and the day-to-day operations of a hotel/resort. The ability to establish rapport with leads, discover needs, overcome objections, and close a sale.
