Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently moving goods, materials, and products within the warehouse, ensuring the smooth flow of operations. This role requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operating Forklifts: Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, stack, and organize materials and products within the warehouse.
2. Material Handling: Move and transport goods to and from various areas within the warehouse, including storage and shipping zones.
3. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory control by accurately storing products in designated locations and ensuring items are tracked for inventory purposes.
4. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate safety equipment and ensuring the safe operation of the forklift.
5. Shipping and Receiving: Load and unload trucks, ensuring that all items are carefully handled and properly stored.
6. Inspection and Maintenance: Perform routine checks on forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper working condition and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
7. Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments and report discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.
8. General Warehouse Assistance: Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as cleaning, organizing, and supporting other team members.
9. Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse team, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and meet daily production targets.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar material handling role.
• Forklift certification (as required by local regulations).
• Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs or more).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Flexibility with work hours (occasional overtime or weekend work may be required).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with additional warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks, or automated systems).
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse software.
