Senior Business Solutions Manager at Ledgent Finance & Accounting
The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for providing essential support to the finance and accounting team by handling data entry, invoicing, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with strong attention to detail who thrives in a fast-paced telecommunications environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, expense reports, and financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, including data entry, payment processing, and customer/vendor communications.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end closing activities.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Support the finance team in audits, reporting, and special projects as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support related to financial documentation and filing.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: High school diploma required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably within telecommunications or a related industry.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
