Gift Processing Director
for a well-established nonprofit organization with a global mission. This position is based in
New York City
and offers a
hybrid work schedule . POSITION OVERVIEW: The Gift Processing Director will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of gift receipt and recording for the organization. You will lead the Gift Processing team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of donations while collaborating with other departments. This role offers the opportunity to manage processes and systems, including
Raiser’s Edge NXT , to improve operations and reporting. PERKS: Competitive salary ranging from
$100,000 to $120,000 , based on experience and location Generous paid time off (15 vacation days that increase with tenure) Paid holidays, including
Federal and religious/cultural holidays RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and mentor the Gift Processing team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of donations. Lead efforts to improve gift acknowledgment, tax substantiation, and pledge reminder processes. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure restricted gifts are properly tracked and allocated. Manage reconciliation of gift data across systems, primarily using
Raiser’s Edge NXT . Assist with financial reporting, including campaign revenue and pledge receivable reports. QUALIFICATIONS: Strong leadership and team management experience Expertise in
Raiser’s Edge NXT
and nonprofit gift processing Ability to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency Experience with financial systems integration and reporting COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: The salary for this position is
$100,000 to $120,000 , depending on relevant experience and location. Regular full-time employee benefits include medical, vision, and dental plans, as well as Flexible Spending Account options. You will receive
15 vacation days
per year, increasing with continued employment, plus
paid holidays , including many Federal and religious/cultural holidays. After one year of employment, you can participate in the
403(b) plan
and access the
transit plan . A
