Customer Service Representative

This role serves as a primary contact for valued customers, providing exceptional service, managing accounts, and efficiently processing orders. You will build strong customer relationships, resolve issues promptly, and contribute to team success. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity located near Buffalo Grove IL.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a dedicated point of contact for assigned accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships through proactive communication and personalized service.
  • Accurately enter and process customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. Manage order changes, cancellations, and returns efficiently.
  • Monitor customer accounts, track order history, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. Address account-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing accurate information about products, services, pricing, and order status.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and concerns, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, update account information, and document all interactions in our CRM system.
  • Work closely with sales, shipping, and other departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to customer service and account management processes to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
  • Generate reports on customer activity, order volume, and account performance as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in customer service, account management, or a related field.
  • Experience with order entry and processing systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Customer-centric mindset and a passion for providing exceptional service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Details:
  • Contract to Hire
  • Monday-Friday Onsite
  • Pay $22-$25 an hour, depending on experience

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
