Job Summary: We have an outstanding Contract position for an Oracle E-Business Suite Administrator to join a leading Company located in Laurel, MD. As an Oracle E-Business Suite Administrator, you will be responsible for providing technical solutions and support for our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) infrastructure, including custom extensions and interfaces. Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications and databases, Oracle WebLogic and related environments. Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control for proactive system monitoring and notifications. Manage Oracle EBS database and application infrastructure tasks, including code promotion, patching, cloning, RMAN backup management, performance tuning, concurrent manager administration, and solving Workflow Mailer/Notification issues. Collaborate with the team to assist with important Oracle EBS security issues. Collaborate closely with fellow Oracle EBS administrators and development teams to ensure alignment and support technical needs. Ensure technical documentation is created, updated, and reviewed by the team for accuracy.

Basic Hiring Criteria: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or have 4+ years of equivalent experience in E-Business Suite administration. Have expertise in: Administering Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments in a Unix-like operating system. EBS database and application infrastructure administration. Utilities such as adadmin, adop, and opatch. RMAN backup and recover, Oracle WebLogic. E-Business Suite Cloning. E-Business Suite performance tuning. Using Cloud Control to manage and monitor databases. Shell scripting to automate infrastructure startup and jobs. Possess strong problem-solving skills and have experience working with Oracle Support. Are a great teammate who collaborates effectively with the EBS Infrastructure team. Have excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams.

Desired Qualifications: Experience with EBS R12.2 upgrades and migrations. Experience configuring E-Business Suite authentication using Oracle Identity and Access Management suite. Design and implement automation solutions using Ansible or other modern programming languages. Advanced Performance Tuning (experience with SQL Trace and TKPROF).
