Origination Manager

AVA Energy are partnered with a fast growing optimisation and trading platform in the Energy Storage industry who are looking for an Origination Manager in Austin, Texas.

You will

• Drive business development and origination efforts by sourcing leads, presenting the value proposition, and negotiating commercial terms to secure contracts for core optimization services.
• Expand opportunities through risk management and structured products, aligning client needs with tailored solutions.
• Manage external relationships and develop onboarding and retention strategies

You need

• A degree in business, economics, finance, computer science, engineering or related technical field
• 3+ years energy market experience across origination, power trading, commodity markets, business development in BESS
• Trading / Dispatch knowledge
• Strong analytical skills and able to dive deep into highly technical quantitative topics

Ideal skills

• Relationships with US power Market players, e.g. IPPs, developers
• Experience working in the Energy Storage industry and setting up QSEs and onboarding assets
