Position Summary: Temporary Full-Time Role

The HR Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the HR function by analyzing data, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to streamline HR processes, ensuring compliance, and optimizing employee experience through tasks like data management, reporting, system maintenance, and providing first-level support to employees regarding HR inquiries; essentially acting as a data-driven problem solver within the HR department to enhance operational efficiency. This position is a San Diego-based on-site/hybrid role with three days a week in our corporate headquarters.


Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the coordination and administration of various Global HR programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure HR processes are compliant, documented, and adhered to.
  • Assist with Form I-9 administration
  • Assist with onboarding communications, tools, governance, metrics, and reporting to measure overall effectiveness.
  • Engage in continuous process improvements with a focus on operational efficiency for HR.
  • Provide support to HR operations projects, change management initiatives, communication efforts, and issue escalations in support of operational effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and communicate updates.
  • Streamline HR activities such as recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration.
  • Develop custom reports, dashboards, and provide insights from HR data.
  • Create and conduct training as needed for HR team members and end-users.
  • Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
  • Ensure HR operations comply with legal requirements and organizational standards.
  • Work on special projects as needed.


Education and Experience:

  • Required :
  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience, with a minimum of 1 year of HRIS/Workday experience.
  • Knowledge of Core HCM, Performance Management, Compensation, and other Workday HR systems.
  • Proven track record with global HR processes and implementing HR digital solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred :
  • Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences Industry experience
  • Master’s degree in management information systems, human resources, or related field.
  • Workday certification(s).


Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate. Laboratory Activities (if applicable): Biology and chemical laboratory environment experience needed. Environmental health and safety requirements also apply.


Travel:

You may be required to travel for up to 10% of your time.


The Anticipated Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000


The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience and education. Crinetics Pharmaceuticals is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
