Location: Traveling between Perfect Smiles Frankfort and Perfect Smiles Palos Park

We are looking to add an experienced Dental Assistant to our team who loves working with patients to achieve their smile goals.

Requirements:

• Greet patients in the waiting area and escort them to the operatory.
• Assist the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chairside as required or directed by the dentist.
• Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures.
• Review health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist, and ensure completion of forms and signatures.
• Assume responsibility for any duties delegated by the dentist.
• Familiarize patients with aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion as needed.
• Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory.
• Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
• Supervise preventive maintenance of dental equipment.
• Take digital radiographs.
• Follow practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, referral, emergency medicine, implants, perio program, and emergency treatment.

Hours:

• Monday and Wednesday: 9:00am - 5:00pm (Palos Park)
• Tuesday: 9:00am - 5:00pm (Frankfort)
• Thursday: 11:00am - 7:00pm (Frankfort)
• Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm (Alternating between Frankfort and Palos Park)
• Saturday: TBD
