Global manufacturer of agricultural plant-based ingredients and excipients used in the food, pharmaceutical, and nutritional products industries is looking for a full-time Process Safety Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PSM, OSHA, and Root Cause Analysis. Experience in the chemical, food, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical industries is required. A Process Safety Engineer's job responsibilities include pursuing a deep understanding of process and design of the manufacturing process and must be able to solve problems and evaluate the operating process for compliance with safety and environmental regulations. This position is located in

at the largest US facility. Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Process Safety Engineer will be to develop and implement safety procedures for the company's manufacturing operations while working in a team to develop processes to streamline production operations. Utilize tools such as root cause analysis, OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM), and EPA Risk Management Plan (RMP) rules. Efforts around Dust Hazards (Analysis, risk reduction, trainings). Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards. Investigate accidents and incidents and develop corrective actions. Maintain compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards. Providing oversight to MOC by maintaining and auditing MOC and Pre-Start Up Safety Review (PSSR) records and procedures. Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. 5+ years of experience in the chemical, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical industries. Proficiency in PSM, OSHA, and Root Cause Analysis. Deep understanding of PSM, OSHA, NFPA, ASME, API standards and codes. Knowledge of RAGAGEP (Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
