Job Summary

Under the direction of the Executive Director of Student Services, identifies and provides speech and language services for students with impairments of speech and language development; performs other related work as required.

1. A longevity factor shall be established based upon the following years in YCJUSD. Years 1 & 2 - 1.03 Years 3 to 5 - 1.05 Years 6+ - 1.07 2. The District shall grant year-for-year service credit upon the hiring of SLP's. Service shall include credit for public, parochial, private, or other school employment in which they were required to utilize their SLP license. 3. Any District-designated bilingual SLP shall receive an additional $2,000 annual stipend. This stipend shall be for bilingual assessment and student interaction, as well as translation during IEP meetings. 4. The District shall reimburse for membership in the professional association (ASHA) and licensing fees.
