Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee mixed-use commercial construction projects from start to finish. The Superintendent will be responsible for on-site project management, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring quality control and safety compliance . The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully managing multi-faceted commercial projects with residential and retail components.

  • Key Responsibilities: Manage daily on-site operations to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Supervise subcontractors and vendors , ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, progress reports, and job logs .
  • Enforce safety policies in compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and owners to resolve issues and ensure project success.
  • Oversee material procurement, inspections, and site logistics .
  • Maintain a high level of quality control , conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with all codes and regulations.
  • Lead and participate in progress meetings , providing updates and addressing any project challenges.
  • Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, preferably in mixed-use developments .
  • Strong knowledge of ground-up construction, site development, and interior finishes .
  • Experience working with retail, multi-family residential, office, or hospitality components .
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical drawings .
  • Knowledge of local building codes, permits, and safety regulations .
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
