THE JOB: The Senior Workday Configuration Analyst will be a key partner with MGM's HR Leadership team, providing critical Workday process and systems support to all other HR functions. This role is responsible for driving HR process improvements and overseeing system setup and maintenance within Workday. The Senior Workday Configuration Analyst collaborates with HR business units, Payroll, IT, and vendors to implement changes, enhancements, and new releases - ensuring data integrity and developing processes to optimize system capabilities. When needed, this role will partner with IT to troubleshoot issues with integrations to and from Workday and other systems.

THE DAY-TO-DAY: Evaluate and Deliver Solutions: Use your in-depth Workday expertise to configure and optimize processes across core HR, time and pay structures, benefits, absence management, compensation, and integrated talent management.

Lead User Testing: Manage and coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure smooth implementation of changes and enhancements.

Identify Process Improvements: Actively seek opportunities to improve HR systems and processes to increase efficiency and ensure clear communication of complex information and solutions.

Manage Implementations: Oversee business application implementations, system updates, and process improvements, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Stay Current: Maintain ongoing knowledge of Workday releases and collaborate with the Release Manager to evaluate potential impacts on system configurations and future usage.

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert: Act as a trusted Workday resource, partnering with HR COEs, Business Partners, IT, and external vendors to ensure systems effectively support HR initiatives.

Support Integration Troubleshooting: Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot and resolve issues between Workday and other systems when necessary.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

3+ Years of prior relevant experience required.

Experience leading HR application implementations and system enhancements.

Exceptional customer service, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with Workday Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, or Absence modules.

Previous experience in a hospitality or resort setting preferred.
