clearance. We are seeking a Tier 1 Cyber Data Threat Analyst to support cybersecurity operations through data analysis, threat detection, and correlation of monitored network traffic. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of security principles, and the ability to communicate findings to stakeholders. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for

Tier 1 Cyber Data Threat Analyst : $78,000 to $85,000 Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Tier 1 Cyber Data Threat Analyst Responsibilities Include: Integrate and prepare large, structured, and unstructured datasets for analysis. Understand data elements, models, and statistical manipulation of datasets. Conduct correlation and trend analysis on monitored traffic within large networks. Analyze attack signatures and provide actionable intelligence to SOC Intrusion Analysts and cybersecurity teams. Identify and analyze new internal and external data sources to enhance predictive models and analytics. Develop statistical and predictive models, create data visualizations, and present insights to Security Operations Management. Research and document emerging cyber threats, attack vectors, tactics, and procedures. Develop tools and procedures to detect "low-and-slow" and previously unobserved attack vectors. Maintain strong relationships across cybersecurity and IT functions. Participate in cyber data analytics projects and contribute to security process improvements. Travel up to 15% (local and nationwide) as required. Performs other job-related duties as assigned Tier 1 Cyber Data Threat Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or related field (or 4+ years of equivalent experience). 3+ years of related work or academic experience. Strong knowledge of networking, network protocols, and information security principles. Experience with SIEM technologies, Anti-Malware, or Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience preparing presentations or briefings. DoD 8570 IAT Level II & CSSP Analyst certifications (or ability to obtain within six months). 1+ years of experience in network security monitoring preferred. Experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) solutions preferred. Knowledge of advanced queries, scripting, or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Regex) preferred. Relevant security certifications such as GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, Pentest+, CHFI, OSCP preferred. Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal Company Information: Criterion
