Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

What You’ll Do:
- This role designs, implements, and manages comprehensive global benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and time-off policies.
- Administer and manage employee insurance plans.
- Advise on state and federal employment regulations, collective agreements, benefits and compensation policies, personnel procedures and classification programs.
- Work closely with internal cross-functional partners to ensure benefit programs meet business needs.
- Partner with external organizations and industry experts to stay up-to-date on best practices and emerging trends.
- Manage budgets related to benefit programs and services. Ensure effective use of resources and optimize program spend.
What You Need:
- 8+ years of experience focused on domestic and international benefits design and management.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful benefits programs.
- Ability to develop a global long-term benefits strategy that is aligned with the critical priorities of the business.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong collaborative relationships/partnerships within the company and with external vendor partners.
- Track record of managing accurate employee benefits data in HR systems, ensuring integrity, privacy, and adherence to data protection policies.
- Well organized and self-directed with excellent attention to detail and accuracy with an ability to design, implement, and execute effective processes.
- Positive attitude and work ethic; unafraid to ask questions and explore new ideas.
- Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work within a diverse team.
- Must be flexible in order to provide employee support in various time zones.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources or related field or equivalent.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $133,440 - $166,800. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
