Mechanical/Energy Engineer
Your new company HAYS Recruitment is currently partnered with a full-service engineering, design, and consulting firm. We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Mechanical-Energy Engineer who conducts the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems to implement new products. Join this dynamic engineering team, who are committed to delivering high-value energy solutions.
Your new role
Support the engineering team in assessing the feasibility of energy efficiency and capital improvement opportunities Monitor progress and performance against project plans and act immediately to resolve operational problems and minimize delays Recognize technical discrepancies in analytical results, and make appropriate corrections Identify, develop, and gather technical resources necessary to complete assignments Conduct field work to document existing conditions during the design phase What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related is required Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification required Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred A minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required Proficient in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) Understands QA/QC procedures Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required Participation in a professional engineering society/organization preferred What you'll get in return
Compensation: $85-115K base
