Job Description Summary The Instrumentation Program Engineer (IPE) reports to the Senior Operation Management Staff Manager and is a project management role that is responsible for managing instrumentation requirements on military and commercial engines in Development Assembly & Component Test. Essential Responsibilities: As The Instrumentation Program Engineer (IPE), You Will: Responsible for managing instrumentation requirements Cost and schedule on engines and any additional information requested through a Test Project Sheet (TPS) Daily interface with: Instrumentation, Design, Systems, Assembly, Engineer, Evaluation, Test, Tooling and Project Personnel, as well as the Hourly work force Engagement in activities that will assist in the scheduling and execution of development engines while focusing on: Integrity, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Overall Cost Initiatives Interface with software tools such as: IDS, IWS, eTPS, Open Plan, Digital Thread, Intelligence, Digital Workbench, VIS mock-up, a variety of access databases Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing) Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Process and Equipment Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain clearance Desired Characteristics: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to influence others and lead small teams Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously Effective problem identification and solution skills Proven analytical and organizational ability Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
