Aubrey ISD, home of the Chaparrals, serves approximately 4,500 students in North Texas and is a rapidly growing school district. Originally a small, rural district housed in a single building for 20 years, Aubrey ISD expanded with the construction of its first elementary school in 1986.
The district encompasses the communities of Aubrey, Krugerville, Providence Village, and Cross Roads. With a strong emphasis on family and community, Aubrey ISD is dedicated to fostering student growth and achievement across its four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. In the fall of 2025, Evalois Owens Middle School will open, further supporting the district's expansion.
Aubrey High School is currently undergoing construction to double student capacity in its academic areas while enhancing Career and Technical Education spaces and introducing new programs such as dance and wrestling. Additionally, a climate-controlled indoor 100-yard multipurpose complex is under construction, and the field house is being expanded and renovated.
Aubrey ISD's mission is to inspire, nurture, and empower all students to realize their potential and succeed in an ever-changing world. Looking ahead, Elementary Schools #5 and #6 are projected to open by the fall of 2030. For more information about Aubrey ISD, visit

Qualifications: Education/Certification: - Master’s degree from accredited university - Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate - Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser Special Knowledge/Skills: - Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction - Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness - Ability to manage budget and personnel - Ability to implement policy and procedures - Ability to interpret data - Excellent organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Experience: - Two years experience as a classroom teacher - Two years experience in instructional leadership roles Salary Range:
