May Center is currently seeking an experienced Help Desk Administrator to join our passion IT team in Randolph MA. The Level 1 Desktop Support Technician provides first-line technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical problems, as well as assisting with the setup and maintenance of computer systems.
Troubleshooting : Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals. User Support : Assisting users with technical problems via phone and ticketing system. Installation and Configuration : Installing software, adding shortcuts, and configuring systems according to company policies. Documentation : Keeping records of issues, solutions, and user requests in a ticketing system. Security : Implementing and maintaining security measures, such as disabling accounts in office 365 and Active Directory.
Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience :
