Logistics Customer Service Representative

LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a client of ours that is seeking a Logistics Customer Service Representative for a large-scale project they are starting in April. Currently this is a 6 + month long Contract position with potential for extension. Our client is a global supplier, so this is a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding order status, delivery timelines, and potential issues.
• Provide proactive communication and updates to customers about their orders, including tracking information and any potential delays.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and efficiently, ensuring resolution and satisfaction.
Order Management:
• Manage inbound purchase orders, ensuring accurate processing and timely fulfillment.
• Track orders through the supply chain, from order placement to delivery, and provide updates to customers.
• Facilitate order placement, changes, and cancellations as needed.
Collaboration & Problem Solving:
• Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, warehousing, and production, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
• Identify and resolve supply chain issues that may impact customer orders, working to find solutions and minimize disruptions.
• Gather customer feedback and provide insights to improve supply chain processes and customer experience.
Other Duties:
• Provide guidance to customers regarding quantities in stock, production lead times, and transportation options.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and order details.
• Contribute to the improvement of supply chain processes and customer service standards.
Specifics:
• Fully on-site
• Contract for 6 months with a possible for extension
• $23-28/hr. (may have a slight stretch)
• Healthcare benefits available thru LHH if desired
Pay Details:
$23.00 to $28.00 per hour
