What you will do
We are seeking an experienced
Director of Operations
to drive large-scale manufacturing excellent at one of our largest manufacturing plants, overseeing 1,000+ employees and managing conversion costs of $200M+. This is a high-impact role, responsible for optimizing safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency while fostering a strong, people-first culture.
How you will do it: Operational Leadership : Oversee day-to-day performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics. Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and JCMS methodologies to drive efficiency. Strategic Execution : Develop and execute 5-10 year transformation plans to enhance manufacturing capacity, automation, and process optimization. Continuous Improvement : Identify and resolve production challenges, improve workflows, and implement best-in-class manufacturing practices to meet customer expectations. Financial & Capital Planning : Ensure proper capital allocation and investment in automation, materials, and logistics to support business growth and cost efficiency. Talent & Culture Development : Build and mentor a high-performing, diverse leadership team, fostering an inclusive and engaged workforce. Champion succession planning and leadership development. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Commercial teams to align operations with business strategy. Work closely with PBU Operations and VP/GM to ensure seamless execution of key initiatives. Community & Industry Leadership:

Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience). 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or operations. Proven success in leading large-scale, multi-site manufacturing operations (1k+ employees). Ability to lead change, drive performance, and develop high-impact teams with a focus on problem-solving, financial acumen, and strategic thinking. Preferred
Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational transformation; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB), Master Black Belt (LSSMBB), Certified Lean Practitioner, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or similar certifications preferred. Prior P&L leadership experience preferred. Expertise in HVAC, automotive, industrial, or high-volume manufacturing industries is preferred.
