We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Associate Attorney with at least 8 years of management-side employment law experience, specializing in PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) claims. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of California labor laws and have a proven track record of representing employers in employment-related disputes, compliance matters, and litigation. Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel to management and employers on California labor law matters, with a focus on PAGA claims. Represent clients in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for employment litigation cases. Advise clients on compliance with California wage and hour laws, workplace policies, and employee relations. Develop and implement strategies for resolving employment disputes efficiently and effectively. Manage and mentor junior attorneys and support staff as needed. Stay informed about legislative and regulatory changes impacting employment law in California. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar. At least 7 years of management-side employment law experience with significant expertise in PAGA claims. Strong knowledge of California labor and employment laws, including wage and hour laws, discrimination, and retaliation statutes. Excellent litigation and trial advocacy skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications
