About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced
Senior Construction Project Manager
to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of data center construction projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in managing large-scale, mission-critical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, security, and network systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end construction projects for data centers, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion. Develop project scope, budgets, and schedules while ensuring alignment with company objectives and client requirements. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, procurement, and operations. Oversee contractor and vendor management, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing construction challenges. Manage project reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on project status and progress. Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure the highest level of construction and operational performance. Drive cost-efficiency strategies and oversee financial tracking of project expenditures. Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, local authorities, and industry partners. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years focused on data center or mission-critical facility projects. Experience managing large budgets ($50M+), schedules, and multiple stakeholders. Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent. Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. PMP, LEED, or equivalent certifications are a plus. Seniority level
