Description
Malvern Treatment Centers is currently seeking a full time Dietary Aide to work at our Malvern Treatment Center facility in Philadelphia.
The location of our Malvern Treatment Centers - Philadelphia is currently located in South Philadelphia but we will be relocating to 3905 W. Ford Road - Philadelphia, PA 19131 in May 2025.
The Dietary Aide role is full time, benefit eligible position!
Position Summary:
Responsible for the daily cleaning of the front and back of the house; dining, kitchen, and dish washing areas. Assist other cooks with tasks, as needed.
Summary of Essential Position Functions: Washes dishes, tableware, and other kitchen and dining room equipment and assures they are stored in an orderly fashion. Maintains the cleanliness of the cafeteria. Prepares, maintains and refills coffee, juices, condiments, etc. Assists in washing of pots, pans and cooking utensils used to prepare a meal. Ensures that plates and silverware are available for use. Assists in serving meals and maintaining salad bar. Assists in the cleaning of the kitchen equipment, food storage area, and supply areas. Stock food supply, condiments, napkins and monitor inventory. Sweeps/mops floors and assists in removing garbage from cafeteria and kitchen. Attends in-services and all required trainings. Complies with schedule as established by Food Services Director Assists with maintaining professional behavior and food quality and procedures for the department. Other duties as may be assigned.
