Position Title RFID Lab 3D Modeler

Job Summary
- The student worker will create and edit 3D models and environments for simulation projects at the RFID Lab. - As a 3D modeler, you are expected to model objects for the lab's simulation software which can range from electronics to simple furniture. Optimize these models within a polygon budget for smooth performance on headsets. Modeling in different art styles may be asked of you.
Essential Functions
- Create 3D Models to the Team Lead's expectations - Create and apply textures for the 3D models - Implement models within a 3D environment
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student (would prefer a Sophomore and Junior).
Expectations: Proficient in 3D modeling taking advantage of tools like Blender and/or Maya Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in game development or software development taking advantage of tools such as Unity, Unreal, or Godot, and object oriented languages like C#, Java, C++, or Python.
Pay Rate $15.00/hour
Work Hours 20
