Provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Performs other diagnostic imaging dependent upon registration/certification.

Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. Drag Edit Delete
When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Drag Edit Delete
Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate. Drag Edit Delete
Prepares equipment and supplies. Drag Edit Delete
Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Drag Edit Delete
Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Drag Edit Delete
Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Drag Edit Delete
Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Drag Edit Delete
Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure. Drag Edit Delete
Enters, transmits and reports scan results.
Minimum Education

Required Skills
American Heart Association or American Red Cross Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire or must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Drag Edit Delete
Required Skills
License: Registered and in good standing with ARRT in Rad or registry eligible. CT certification preferred. Drag Edit Delete
Minimum Work Experience
Six months experience in Radiology and/or CT Specialty. If no CT experience, must be willing to learn and train.
