Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are tasked with staffing various locations with various nursing roles.
The locations included:
- Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD
- DiLorenzo Pentagon Health Clinic in Washington, DC,
- A.T Augusta Military Medical Center in Fort Belvoir, VA
The Nursing Roles Include:
- Medical-Surgical (MedSurg) Registered Nurse (RN) day shift (Coverage)/ MedSurg RN night shift (Coverage)/ MedSurg Telemetry RN Day shift (Coverage) / MedSurg Telemetry RN Night shift (Coverage) / Wound Care RN / Med-Psych RN /LPN/LVN at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, Maryland
- LPN at DiLorenzo Pentagon Health Clinic in Washington, DC
- Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse at A.T Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC) in Fort Belvoir, VA
Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse:
- Minimum Educational Requirements: Accredited school of Nursing (Diploma, AD or BSN)
- Certification/Licenses Requirements: RN with a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is desirable.
- Minimum Experience: Three (3) years full time experience within the last five years in Caring for Adult patients in an Acute Care Setting.
Medical Surgical Nurse - Telemetry
- Minimum Educational Requirements: Accredited school of Nursing (Diploma, AD or BSN)
- Certification/Licenses Requirements: RN with a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is desirable. Basic dysrhythmia course with certificate required.
- Minimum Experience: One (1) year full time experience within the last 3 years in Caring for Adult patients in an Acute Care telemetry Setting with cardiac monitoring.
Wound Care Inpatient Registered Nurse:
- Degree/Education: Current license as a registered nurse in U.S.
- Certifications BLS Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Basic Life Support-Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP), current certification in Wound and Ostomy Care (WOCN required; other certifications will be considered on case by care approval WR Wound Team).
- Experience: Minimum of two years of wound and ostomy care in the last four (4).
MED-PSYCHIATRIC Registered Nurse:
- Degree/Education: Graduated from an accredited nursing school and successfully pass the NCLEX exam. Education as follows: Either (a), a bachelor's degree in nursing; or (b) a Diploma Graduate in Nursing from an accredited university.
- Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Possess and maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) recommended.
- Experience: Have a minimum of three years full time experience within the last five years caring for adult patients as a RN in a behavioral health care setting. Maintain qualifications and skills of a Psychiatric Registered Nurse as confirmed by completion of the Skills Checklist and verified by the clinical manager.
Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse:
- Minimum Education: Diploma of LPN or LVN, from and accredited National League of Nursing (NLN) approved program.
- Licensure /Certifications: Valid, unrestricted, LPN/LVN license at least 1 state, territory, or commonwealth of the U.S. Basic Life Support required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALs) as required by contracted MTF.
- Minimum Experience: continuously employed in the practice of Licensed Practical Nurse for 1 year prior to start of work at the MTF.
- Board Certification: Needed
- Registration: Valid, unrestricted, LPN/LVN license at least 1 state, territory, or commonwealth of the US
Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse
- Degree/Education: Shall have a Diploma, Associates, or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support; Have and maintain current certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
- Experience: The Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse at a minimum, must have one year Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum or Labor & Delivery experience, with no more than 12 months since last work assignment.
- Board Certification: Have and maintain current Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Licensure/Registration: The Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse shall possess a valid, unrestricted license (with no limitations, stipulations, or pending adverse actions) to practice nursing as a RN in at least one state or territory (Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the Virgin Islands) in the United States. All licenses remained current, valid, and unrestricted during contract employment.
- Shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand English well enough to effectively communicate with all patients and other health care providers.
- Shall be knowledgeable of equipment and supply terminology and skill sufficient to identify and use necessary equipment and supplies properly and to communicate proper use with nurses, medical staff, patients, and family members.
- Possess knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of basic word processing, data entry and automated medical records.
- Be a U.S. citizen.
