As a Multi-Skilled Carpenter, you will be responsible for a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, finishing, cabinetry, and general repairs. You will work on both residential and light commercial projects, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. Other areas of responsibilities would include LVP flooring and tile installation, painting, staining and finishing woodwork. Who We Are

Key Responsibilities

Installs walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as: wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials. Fits and installs window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim. Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels. Ability to read blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required. Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws. Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment. Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools. Assembles and fastens materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue. Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools. Inspects ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures. Moves necessary materials around the jobsite as assigned. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines. Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Capable of receiving and following instructions. Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines. Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety. Strong working knowledge of job site safety. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience in residential and light commercial construction preferred. Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Requires experience across all trades. Expertise in framing, window installation, doors, sheetrock, and custom trim work.

Experience in these areas is preferred (not required).

Multi-skilled role—versatility is a must.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with drywall, painting, staining and finish of woodwork and LVP flooring and tile installation. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
