We are seeking a highly skilled
Professional Cyber Instructor/Developer
to design, develop, and instruct advanced Information Operations (IO) courses. This role involves extensive curriculum development, instructional delivery, and evaluation in alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force cyber training objectives. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in information systems, mission planning, and instructional methodologies. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research and analysis of training requirements, including System Training Plans (STP), Training Needs Analysis (TNA), Master Training Task Lists (MTTL), and other relevant training documents. Design, develop, integrate, modify, and instruct IO course materials for in-residence, mobile training teams (MTT), non-resident, online, and Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) environments. Utilize
Instructional Systems Development (ISD), the ADDIE Model, and Bloom’s Taxonomy
to structure training programs. Develop lesson plans, instructor notes, student materials, and evaluation tools per

and government requirements. Instruct students on Air Force and Joint Operations, including cyber mission planning, employment of weapon systems, and tactical/operational cyber execution. Cyber Training & Mission Integration:
Analyze and integrate DoD information systems such as
AFIN, AFNET, DoDIN, and Joint Information Environment (JIE)
into cyber training programs. Develop and instruct practical application training missions, mission scenarios, and mission evaluation tests. Assist in the creation of
mission simulator virtual environments
for training exercises. Incorporate
defensive and offensive cyber operations
into training curricula, ensuring alignment with real-world military applications. Provide instruction on
intelligence support to IO , operational and tactical planning, and strategic deception planning. Evaluation & Student Assessment:
Develop and administer advanced cognitive and hands-on evaluation/testing methods. Evaluate students in classroom settings, simulated mission environments, and live operational training exercises. Review student and stakeholder feedback to ensure course material remains current and aligned with mission needs. Conduct instructor/student review panels to address concerns and improve instructional delivery. Provide test proctoring and student performance assessments. Design and develop
e-learning materials , including web-based instructional aids, video lessons, and performance support tools. Ensure seamless integration of instructional content into
Learning Management Systems (LMS)
and mission training simulators. Maintain and update digital courseware to meet evolving military and cyber training needs. Required Qualifications:
Education:
Associate’s Degree (or equivalent experience). Experience:
Minimum
5 years of operational experience in the Information Environment (OIE) , with expertise in:
Military planning at Tactical, Operational, and Strategic levels. Deception activities and Military Information Support Operations (MISO). Public Affairs, Strategic Communications, and Signature Management. Common processes utilized by the Air Component.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with
U.S. Cyber Command, 16 AF/AFCYBER, and DoD cyber mission planning . Knowledge of
cyber weapons systems, operational planning processes (JP 5-0), and intelligence integration into cyber operations . Familiarity with Air Force instructional methodologies and government training requirements. Work Environment & Expectations:
Must be able to work in
classified and unclassified environments . Some travel may be required for
mobile training teams (MTT) and operational exercises . Ability to collaborate with military and government staff in a fast-paced training environment.
