We're looking for an
Customer Service/Dispatcher
to keep our operations running smoothly. This role requires someone who can balance administrative responsibilities with the fast-paced demands of dispatching freight and managing driver logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatch & Logistics Coordination
Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers efficiently to meet customer delivery timelines. Monitor load status and proactively resolve issues to prevent service failures. Communicate with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and compliance requirements. Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, load details, and driver performance. Customer Service & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, carriers, and drivers. Address customer inquiries, provide shipment updates, and resolve service issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
2+ years in a dispatcher, logistics coordinator, or office management role within the trucking or 3PL industry. Knowledge:
Familiarity with DOT regulations, FMCSA compliance, and transportation management systems (TMS). Technology:
Proficiency in [list relevant software, e.g., TMS, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, ELD systems]. Skills:
Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Work Ethic:
