$16.50 Job Summary: Law School proctors are responsible for proctoring students' final exams. They play an integral role in ensuring the efficient administration of exams and are expected to act calmly and professionally at all times. Final exams occur in May and December. Proctors must be available to work most of the days the exams are being offered and attend orientation sessions before the exam period. Responsibilities: Supervise individuals and classrooms according to strict guidelines to maintain the integrity of the Law School exams. Clearly articulate test-related information, including instructions to groups. Ensure students comply with the Honor Code and set test instructions throughout the duration of the exam. Assist in passing out, collecting, and securing testing and related materials. May serve as a relief for active proctors during breaks. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. Next Exam Dates/Times Available: Exam Dates: Monday, April 28th, 2025, through Friday, May 9th, 2025 Orientation Date: Mandatory Orientation, Tuesday, April 8th, 2025 Proctors need to be available for at least 7 of the exam dates. Actual proctor work assignments will be based on the final exam schedule of the Law School. Shifts Available: Shift #1: 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM (end time approximate). Shift #2: 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM (end time approximate). In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly salary for this position is $16.50.
