Elevate Technology Solutions is assisting a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) specializing in delivering IT solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Our services include managed IT support, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and network management. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to drive new client acquisition and expand our customer base.

Position Overview:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities in the SMB market. This role requires a proactive, consultative sales approach and the ability to build relationships with business owners and decision-makers.

  • Key Responsibilities:Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and engage potential SMB clients through networking, cold outreach, and inbound inquiries.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress through the sales cycle using a CRM.
  • Consultative Selling: Educate prospects on the value of managed IT services, conducting needs assessments and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Proposal Development & Closing: Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, business owners, and IT managers.
  • Market Research & Strategy: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
  • Qualifications:Experience: 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in MSP, IT services, or technology solutions.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and IT support needs of SMBs.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Tech-Savvy: Ability to discuss IT solutions in a way that is understandable to business owners without a technical background.
  • Motivated & Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and drive results with minimal supervision.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM tools, Email Marketing, and Social Media to track opportunities.
