Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Lathe Machinist, located in Whitehall, PA. The CNC Lathe Machinist will be responsible for operating CNC lathes to produce precision components. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and operating CNC machines, performing machining operations, ensuring the accuracy of machined parts through quality control processes, and maintaining machinery for optimal performance. Additionally, the machinist will interpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions to meet production goals and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience with Machine Operation and CNC Machining skills
- Knowledge of Lathe operations
- Proficiency in Quality Control techniques
- Familiarity with general machinery maintenance
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining is a plus
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
