Eugenus is seeking a highly motivated Simulation Intern/Contractor to join the Simulation Core Technology Center for the Summer of 2025. This role will focus on CFD modeling and simulation to support flow and thermal analysis for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The insights gained from these simulations will contribute to the design and optimization of hardware and process recipes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and modify CAD geometry for hardware components.
  • Generate high-quality computational mesh for flow and thermal simulations.
  • Set up and run CFD simulations to analyze system performance.
  • Post-process simulation results and extract key insights to support design improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to refine simulation models and validate results.
  • Document simulation workflows, findings, and recommendations in technical reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed Master’s, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field .
  • Experience with ANSYS CFD tools for CAD, meshing, and simulations.
  • Familiarity with flow and thermal analysis in semiconductor equipment or related industries is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate findings effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of reactive flow modeling or multiphysics simulations .
  • Experience with script-based automation (Python, MATLAB, or similar) for simulation post-processing.
  • Understanding of semiconductor vacuum processing and heat transfer mechanisms .
