POSITION SUMMARY: The Arizona Supreme Court Information Technology Division is seeking a Network Field Engineer to join the infrastructure team. This technical position performs complex technical and administrative functions to support the high availability of the Arizona Supreme Court's Statewide Network. This position will troubleshoot and repair problems in Arizona Judicial Information Network (AJIN), configure, install, and support Statewide Cisco Infrastructure, manage all requests received through the Helix ticketing system, and assist in Data Center maintenance and projects. This position is also responsible for proper code versions required on Switches and Routers, site installations and repair of remote locations, and CAT6 and Fiber terminations and required cabling runs.
Additional duties consist of cross-training other Network Engineers, provide technical support for ITD and other Network Engineers, and assist in Network designs and implementations. Also, frequent travel to statewide courts, probation departments, and Judicial locations across Arizona.
Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program qualified employer.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Five years of experience configuring, installing, and troubleshooting Cisco network equipment in a multisite environment may substitute for the degree requirement, three years of technical expertise in an enterprise LAN and WAN environment, and CCNA certification. This position also requires extensive knowledge of Cisco Routers and Switches, excellent knowledge of troubleshooting tools to diagnose network issues, customer service skills, and knowledge of IP Addressing.
The preferred candidate will have a working knowledge of the court system, NETSCOUT Products, working knowledge of Windows 11, and Cisco VOIP and Video Systems. Excellent knowledge of NGenius monitoring tools.
This position requires in-state travel with little notice and requires off-shift hours and weekends at times.
SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
