Location: Austin, TX (100% Onsite)Job Type: PermanentCompensation Range: $85,000 - 90,000 per yearWe are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to support sensitive government projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development experience, proficiency in Spring Boot, Docker, and SQL, and a working knowledge of AWS cloud services.Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend Java applications.
Work with Spring Boot, Docker, and SQL databases.
Contribute to the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions (AWS).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Adhere to strict security and compliance requirements.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
Qualifications:
2+ years of professional Java backend development experience.
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Docker, and SQL.
Experience with AWS cloud services is a significant plus.
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency for at least 7 years.
Ability to pass rigorous background checks, including credit and federal criminal checks.
Ability to provide proof of citizenship and valid driver's license.
Must not have lived outside of the US for more than 30 days.
Additional Notes:
Onsite work is required in downtown Austin, TX.
